The Blast App is a social chat app that allows you to start conversations with friends and others throughout the world. You create a message, you send it to your friends lock screens, then chat individually with all recipients seconds later. Below are a few rules we’ve implemented to help make your experience more authentic and unique.
Closed Community
The only way new members can join TBA is by being referred by an existing member. This means your friends can only join if you give them your referral code which is located in the Blast Points section. Everyone will know who you invited to the community so chose wisely and only invite people you think will represent you well.
Push Notifications
Silent push notifications are used to deliver your blasts and chats to your friends and followers. If you are not following that person or if that person is not in your contacts then you will never receive a push notification when they send new blasts or new chats. You also can turn someone’s notifications off by going to their profile and pressing the More (three dots) button.
Followers
To create a more authentic environment we decided to hide your followers. Meaning, it doesn’t matter who is following you; it only matters that people are signed up to receive your blasts in real time. So be genuine and send engaging and authentic messages.
Discover
The Discover section allows you to start conversations with the entire Blast community. When posting in Discover, you will have the option to send your blasts to your followers or only keep your blast in the Discover section.
24 Hour Content
After 24 hours all of your blasts and chats are deleted from the app and our servers to reduce your digital footprint and to also keep a feed of fresh and updated content. However, items you post in Moments are permanent until you manually delete them.
